My goal has always been to write for both SC2 fans and to those who are unfamiliar with the game.
I don't doubt that. In that regard you don't differ from anybody working with foreign IP. What I meant is that your base readership is the SC fanbase. That's where you can expect your profits. In other words, you'd milk someone other's cash cow. What I doubt though is that PR3's profits come from trekkie wallets by taking inspiration from ST or incorporating some superficial similarities. SC2 appeals generally to gamers who are fans of popular sci-fi without an explicit call for the attention of any specific fangroup, therefore I don't see how PR3's principles would be reprehensible. I am planning on finishing the entire story in one or two more books. Whether it's one or two depends on how the story unfolds. I'll probably start writing the next one at the end of the summer when my master's thesis should be finished.

Great, I will count you in. And it's a good thing you said that, because now other people might dare to ask for a copy as well.

So, anyone who wants a printed copy of Groombridge Log, let me know. I'll figure out the details later when I know how many copies will be needed.

I have finally finished checking everything and converting the text into a suitable format for printing. I also took down the four parts and replaced them with the final version in a single file:

And here's the cover for the printed book:

I think that Paul's work would still exist without Gene's, even if slightly different form. Tiberian's work would not exist without Paul's at all. Fairly big difference.

I am not expecting any profits. Currently I have no plans on selling the book.
